Have at least a week to explore all of Paris! Hmmm....make that two weeks! Ten days will work, too! The best adventure is to take advantage of the easy-to-use Metro system.....use a Metro map, know the "end points" of the Metro route, and you are set! It's one of the easiest subway systems in the world! If taking the Metro, be prepared to walk up and down steps!

A view of the western section of Paris! The business La Defense area is straight ahead.

This marks the spot where the....uh....guillotine was set up. Notables associated with this spot include Marie Antoinette and her husband King Louis the 16th.

Instead of a guillotine, the obelisk is here as a remembrance to all who died at this spot.

The Eiffel Tower is spectacular anyway you see it....especially, underneath!

Underneath the Eiffel Tower at night.

Ever see "The Da Vinci Code"?? See the inspiration for the movie, right here at the Louvre!

Outside the Louvre...what a sight!

And, just where does the pyramid end at the Louvre? I found it!

The famous Paris Catacombs! Yes, those are not props!

Explore a few miles underneath the streets of Paris, in the Paris Catacombs.

Artists galore outside of Sacre Coeur Cathedral in Montmartre. Step back and feel the great French artists from the past. They all got their start right here! Anyway you get here, be prepared to climb steps. Oh...there is a "people mover" escalator, but, be prepared to wait.

Sacre Coeur can be seen high up on its perch anywhere in Paris.

Shopping anyone? Champs-Elysees is for you!

Enjoy the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower!

The Seine at Night....

Notre Dame Cathedral....

The most famous Cathedral in the World....Notre Dame!

There really is a place called "Napolean's Tomb"! And, what a grand tomb it is!

The unofficial monument to Princess Diana, who actually passed away in the roadway underneath.
